Who do you support as Lord President?
Second Race for the Lord Presidency
Following the tragic assassination of Lord President John Hurt, Viscount Illface, at 19:46 on Saturday, three candidates have emerged to challenge for the highest Great Office of State. The current frontfrunner is Emmanuelle Béart, with 32% in polls.
Candidates for Lord Presidency
1. Emmanuelle Béart (44) (Liberal Democratic Socialist Labour Party)
The most popular candidate for Lady President, Béart has the strongest track record of these three ministers for experience as a leader, and recently began mass reforms to improve State Schooling as manager of the Education and Science portfolio.
Political Position: Left Wing Socialist
Preferred WA Delegate: Potato Farmers
Political Style: Electrifying demagogue with a talent for winning blue-collar support
Key Political Allies: Sir Kelsey Grammer Viscount Frasier, Geoffrey Rush and Marion Cotillard
2. Dame Helena Bonham Carter (41) (Monarchist Conservative Party)
Coming back from behind Bonham Carter has emerged as Béart's most likely challenger and is fast forging a reputation for flair and dignity on the podium - as well as controlling her party's purse strings as Chairwoman of the tories.
Political Position: Centre Right One-Nation Aristocrat
Preferred WA Delegate: Ravenburg-Morovia
Political Style: Cool podium diva, the most able debater in the House of Lords
Key Political Allies: Meg Ryan Duchess of Ditzyton, Bill Nighy, and Gwyneth Paltrow
3. David Hyde Pierce Earl of Niles (49) (Monarchist Conservative Party)
Lord Niles's credentials as Minister for Trade could not be bettered by any since the glory days of James Mason (1951-56) and Olivia de Havilland (1956-59), and in his tenure he has created unparalleled prosperity in Luschia whilst remaining a loyal Duetarian.
Political Position: Centre Left Plutocrat Tory
Preferred WA Delegate: Potato Farmers (he has championed the Banking Act)
Political Style: Effete, vain but lucid and authoritarian Party politcian
Key Political Allies: Amy Adams, Annette Bening and Andy Garcia

The Race for the Lord Presidency Concluded!
After a second round of heated, politically charged campaigning for the top job in Luschian governance, this Race for the Lord Presidency has ended!
The results of the Eighth Round were announced at 16:47 by Lady President pro tempore Bening. Dame Helena Bonham Carter and David Hyde Pierce Earl of Niles went in tied with sixty-seven votes each (leading Emmanuelle Béart by thirteen), but this vote was conclusive.
"It is my pleasure to state," said Bening, "that I shall henceforth be serving, in any capacity demmed fit, in the Government of Dame Helena Bonham Carter."
New Lady President and Head of Government Bonham Carter leaves the House of Lords today
Having narrowly bested Lord Niles by a mere nine votes
