The third WA election of Duetaria

Yes that's right people, on the 17th June Chancellor Mettenburg of Ravenburg-Morovia will officially step down beginning our third general election! So if you are interested in running for office please state your name below and then you may start your campaign. Any one who fails to place their name here first will have all their posts for their election deleted.

When will campaigning begin? I suggest around 9 - 11 June, to continue until the 16.

Campaigning may begin as soon as you post you want to run here. The election will be held on the 18th of June

Can't we wait until the Trial ends?

The election can not be held back, however with the prosecution's agreement we can hold back the trial until after the election.

I would like to put myself forward for the post of WA delegate.

No deputy's yet, unless the Cabinet act is approved before the 3rd

My mistake, perhaps we should press on with the cabinet act then, it would be good to have deputies before the election is over. If not if the act comes into action during the term or two of election will the WA delegete have to make is cabinet half way through term, or will it be the next WA delegate after him (or for sexisms sake, her) that forms a cabinet?

In response to Grand Nomad Lloyd's question: if the Cabinet Act is passed, then I intend to select a cabinet without delay and to re-start an election for my Deputy, to act as Deputy until the end of my term.

It would seem that Tweak the almighty is also running for office.
